Meet the people committed to your oral health.

The team at Aspen Dental Care is committed to patient-centered care. That means all treatments revolve around you.

We’re fun, passionate, and energetic. We emphasize mutual respect and open communication – which you’ll experience first-hand as one of our patients. Our team consists of receptionists, registered dental assistants, registered dental hygienists, and two general dentists.

Dentistry is an exciting field; it is always growing and changing. We ensure that each member of our team is up-to-date on the current practices and standards.

Dr. Dima Oweis

Dr. Dima Oweis, a general dentist, started her post-secondary education at the University of Calgary then moved to Edmonton to pursue her dental education. She obtained a Medical Sciences Degree and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta.

Dr. Dima is a strong believer in dentistry as a health care profession first and a business second. She believes in open communication and mutual respect between dentist and patient, which leads to a better dental experience.

A lifelong learner, Dr. Dima enhances her skill set through various continuing education programs, and follows up with current research.

During her free time, Dr. Dima enjoys the outdoors, reading, and spending time with her family. She is also passionate about travelling and world cultures. One of her goals is to participate in short-term volunteer trips, where she can provide dental care in developing countries.

Dr. Holly Fritz

I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. My folks still live in the same house that I grew up in! I received a Bachelor of Science from the U of C in Zoology in 2002; then made the move to Edmonton to attend the U of A for Dentistry. I graduated in 2006 and five years later decided to move back home to Calgary. I really missed being close to my family and the mountains, so I'm now able spend more time out in Canmore hiking, biking, skiing, and fishing. I have a big loveable Yellow Lab named Maya and two little flop eared bunnies. Thankfully everyone gets along!

What I love about dentistry is that it is an ever changing career which is constantly developing new ideas and better techniques to help make peoples experience in the dental chair a little easier. Very few people actually enjoy going to the dentist, so it always makes me feel good when people tell me 'hey that really wasn't that bad!'. I enjoy all aspects of dentistry, and continually strive to give every patient the best care that I know how.
